Consign
If you have a fur in good condition and wish to sell it, we can help you. Consigning your fur to McElroy Vintage is the best way for you to present your fur for sale.
In order to place your fur on consignment, you may either bring your fur to our Lake Bluff retail location or contact us and arrange the shipment of your piece. We need to see your fur in person in order to make an assessment. Once your fur has been received, it will undergo a thorough inspection process.
All consignment pieces will be cleaned and conditioned before being offered for sale. The charge for cleaning is $75, payable once it has been decided to put the piece up for sale, this cost being separate from any consignment fees. Once your fur has been accepted, we will photograph it and list it for sale on McElroy Vintage.
You will receive 50% of the total sale price once your piece is purchased, payable two to three weeks after the purchase is complete.
